The Catalog Story #1

Today was one of those few “rain” in Arizona days. I made my coffee according to the recipe in the Homestead Manual and sat down at my desk to write in my How To Do Your Own Journal. A sip of that dark brew and my pen began to fill the pages as a divine inspiration. A quick glance at the Journal of I love Jesus, a quick amen and the words flowed onto my paper. What I began as a memo on Arizona Prospect grew into a discourse of The Search For The Lost Civilization and a quary of The Gold Field Stone Map discovered by members of The Hole In The Wall gang who traded their Harleys for horses in search of the lost Dutchman mine. After sometime, writing began to cramp my hand, and I thought of These Hands Were Made To Pamper and the many short stories I had written about the ladies who ran the massage parlors from my property in the early 1970s before only those involved in hard drugs and the pushers were the only ones who dared to be involved. I took a deep breath and relaxed my mind as the Principles Of Heart Meditation brought me to the breath of Ah-h-h-h-h. Ah yes, back to the story—could a movie be made of this? Possibly a business? I could call it Expressco. I could give a Degree From The School Of Hard Knocks. There are Books of Short Stories, and More Shorts, Legends and Myths. No, I think a play system called Little Peoples and a movie called Phoenix Bird Rising to prevent self-destruction is the answer. Could it be to late? Agent Orange Is In America And It’s Still Killing People. Maybe some of that prospector’s coffee would still help. Maybe there can be World Peace Now. Ah, the rain has stopped it’s a good time to walk Broad Street and finish The Historical Preservation Review. Journal Publishing Company helps people tell their stories.
